International Chodiev Foundation Joins Forces to Support Third Fair of Handmade Products for Individuals with Disabilities in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – The International Chodiev Foundation (ICF) is pleased to support the Third Fair of Handmade Products created by individuals with disabilities.

The Fair, which is being organized by the Ministry of Justice and the Society for Disabled Individuals of Uzbekistan, will open in Tashkent on 6 November, and will be held from 10 am to 5 pm at the Ekobozor trade center. 

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of products crafted by individuals with disabilities from all regions of the country. This event offers its participants an additional platform to sell and exhibit their handmade goods. It is a part of the Ministry of Justice’s ‘Biz Birgamiz’ (‘We Are Together’) social project, which aims to promote inclusivity.

Social support projects and programmes play an important role in the work of the International Chodiev Foundation. The Foundation has previously implemented large-scale programmes to support orphanages and medical centers in Uzbekistan, help those in need during the coronavirus pandemic in Uzbekistan and provided free COVID testing and medical support for migrant workers from Uzbekistan in Russia.
