ICF Helps Young Diplomats to Discover Central Asia’s Heritage
Moscow, Russia – International Chodiev Foundation is proud to sponsor the trip of the ‘Young Diplomats’ Club members to Uzbekistan.
The visit to Uzbekistan, organized to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Uzbekistan, was held in January 2022 as part of the extensive educational programme of the Association of Russian Diplomats.
Thanks to the financial support of the ICF, 29 children from various regions and cities of Russia, Uzbekistan, and Belarus participated in the trip. Under the guidance of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Deputy Chairman of the Association of Russian Diplomats, Valery Egoshkin, the young diplomats visited the ancient cities of Central Asia, including Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara.
The trip aimed to enhance the children’s knowledge of international relations, improve their communication and negotiation skills, and give them an opportunity to experience Uzbekistan’s rich culture and heritage.
