An ICF-supported language lab opened at MGIMO-Tashkent

A language lab allowing the use of the latest multimedia technologies for foreign language learning has opened at MGIMO Tashkent. This is the gift from the International Chodiev Foundation (ICF), which has been supporting MGIMO and its branch in Uzbekistan for several years through various sponsorship and charitable projects. Today, ICF runs two scholarship programmes at MGIMO-Tashkent: one fully covering the tuition fees, and the other offering monthly stipends to the outstanding students.

A new convenient, high tech educational space at MGIMO Tashkent will allow the students studying English, French, German, Russian and Uzbek to truly immerse themselves in the language environment, and to make the process more engaging and efficient.

MGIMO has always paid special attention to the study of foreign languages. It is the Guinness Book of Records Holder as the university with the largest number of foreign languages taught – 53 languages.
