ICF launches a new scholarship programme

Starting 1 August 2022, MGIMO-Tashkent opens applications for a new scholarship programme funded by the International Chodiev Foundation (ICF). The closing date for application submissions is 20 August 2022. 

Selection criteria

The scholarship programme offering monthly stipends is open for current 2, 3 and 4-year undergraduate students pursuing studies in Business Informatics and Law. Applicants must be citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and bear ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ marks in the last two terms preceding application. The preference will be given to students with history of winning international and country-level scientific and sport competitions (gold, silver and bronze place) in the past three years, activists and community leaders, applicants with special needs and children without parental care. 

It should be noted that students in possession of the ICF scholarships fully covering their tuition fees, cannot apply for the new programme. 

Selection process

Background information

As we announced previously, ICF and MGIMO-Tashkent signed a memorandum of cooperation until 2025. As part of this agreement, ICF funds scholarship programmes as well the purchase of technical equipment and transport for the university.
