ICF scholarship recipients graduate with distinction from MGIMO-Tashkent

On 11 July 2025, MGIMO-Tashkent held its official graduation ceremony, marking the completion of studies for the Class of 2025. Special attention was given to the graduates who received educational grants and scholarships from the International Chodiev Foundation (ICF).

This year’s graduating class included 9 students supported by ICF educational grants and 6 scholarship recipients. Almost all of them completed their studies with honours, demonstrating high academic achievement, dedication, and active participation in university life. The Foundation’s support played a key role in helping these students reach the finish line with excellence.

The International Chodiev Foundation congratulates all graduates on completing this important chapter. We are especially proud of those who received our support and wish each of you continued success, bold choices, professional achievements, and inspiration as you begin a new stage in life.

In total, 123 graduates received MGIMO-Tashkent diplomas this year: 79 bachelor’s and 44 master’s degree holders, having completed programmes in international private, civil, and financial law, business informatics, systems analysis, event management and tourism, and energy and commodity markets. Among them, 26 graduates received diplomas with honours.

On the same day, 74 graduates of the 11th grade of the MGIMO Lyceum in Uzbekistan received their school certificates, with five students awarded gold medals.

The all-day celebration brought together students, faculty, families, and honoured guests. Among the attendees were Acting Minister-Counsellor of Russia in Uzbekistan A. Lanchikov, Head of Educational Programmes of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan I. Sulzhina, and ICF representatives in Uzbekistan – U. Khusainova and Z. Shaislamova.

The Class of 2025 stands as a testament to the strength of academic cooperation and the successful fulfilment of MGIMO’s educational mission.
