ICF supports the festival ‘Japanese Seasons in the Republic of Tatarstan’

This May, ICF is proud to sponsor the festival ‘Japanese Seasons in the Republic of Tatarstan’, which will takes place across Tatarstan over the next six months. 

The festival opened with a screening of ICF-supported documentaries ‘The Multifaceted Japan’ and ‘Building Trust: Russians in Japan’. These films will be screened at various venues during the course of the festival.

This year’s Japanese seasons offer a rich and exciting programme of events. It includes: 

• The Japanese film festival, including the mini-anime festival ‘Harusaban’ with competitions and master classes on dubbing anime and animation. 
• The project ‘Interactive Corridor’, representing advanced Japanese technologies.
• Open kendo championship ‘Zilant Kendo Open 2024’, as well as the opening of a youth kendo organisation in Kazan.
• Introducing young people to the history of Russo-Japanese relations.
• Evenings of Japanese poetry, Japanese cuisine festival, and much more.
