The official annual scholarship award ceremony was held at MGIMO

The official annual scholarship award ceremony was held at MGIMO. It was conducted by Vladimir Morozov (Vice-Rector for Human Resources Policy, MGIMO),  Andrei Stukov (Head of the Educational Institutions Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Olga Monakhova (Head of the Representative Office of the International Chodiev Foundation in Russia) and Yulia Sukhenko (Project Manager of the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation).

Currently, MGIMO awards 29 types of scholarships provided by The President and the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Government of Moscow, as well as a number of organisations. As outlined by Vladimir Morozov, who awarded the faculty scholarships, 670 talented students currently receive scholarships, 460 of them are the recipients of the Scholarship of the President of Russia. 

Andrei Stukov thanked the students for their academic achievements and public activities on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He awarded scholarships from the Andrei Karlov Foundation and mentioned the benefits that MGIMO graduates have whilst applying for employment opportunities with the Ministry. 

Scholarships of the International Chodiev Foundation and of the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation were presented by their representatives.
