The third fair of products handmade by people with disabilities will open in Tashkent tomorrow

The third fair of products handmade by people with disabilities will be open in Tashkent tomorrow, 6 November 2021. The International Chodiev Foundation (ICF) is extremely pleased to support this initiative of the Ministry of Justice and the Society for the Disabled People of Uzbekistan.

The fair will take place from 10 am to 5 pm at Ekobozor trade centre. Visitors will be able to find a wide range of products created by people with disabilities from all over the country. This way, fair participants are given additional opportunity to sell and showcase their handcrafted goods. The event is part of the ‘Biz Birgamiz’ (‘We Are Together’) social project initiated and implemented by the Ministry of Justice.

Social support projects and programmes play an important role in the work of the International Chodiev Foundation. The Foundation has previously implemented large-scale programmes to support orphanages and medical centers in Uzbekistan, help those in need during the coronavirus pandemic in Uzbekistan and provided free COVID testing and medical support for migrant workers from Uzbekistan in Russia. Projects related to the inclusion and creativity of people with disabilities were also previously supported in Russia.
