The winners of the Student Research Competition of the Russian Association of Japanologists announced in Moscow

Russian Association of Japanologists has reintroduced the Student Research Competition this year. The winners of the competition were announced at MGIMO, Moscow, on Wednesday, 17 November.

The ICF-supported competition encouraged undergraduate and graduate students and young researchers from all over Russia to submit research papers in two main fields: ‘Modern Japan’ (foreign and domestic policy, economics, society and culture) and ‘Traditional Japan’ (history, literature and culture). The jury, among  whom are leading Russian Japanologists,, noted high quality of research works.

The competition actively encourages and supports  student research, and  allows them to become a part of the specialists community in the field of Japanese studies. The International Chodiev Foundation, one of the key objectives of which is to foster the potential of young people, is very pleased to support this initiative of the Russian Association of Japanologists. ICF Founder Dr Patokh Chodiev is an Honourary Chairman of the Association.

We sincerely congratulate the participants and winners of the competition and wish them further academic success!
