Update on the water project in Uzbekistan

In 2022, ICF launched a new water project, installing modern water supply and sanitation systems in the remote villages of Karakalpakstan republic of Uzbekistan. In 2023, as a result of the project, more than 1700 people in six villages in the Karauzyak district gained access to clean drinking water.

By the end of 2023, three more villages in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm regions were supplied with new modern water and sanitation systems. Similar work will be carried out in other villages with water supply issues throughout 2024.
